NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS ON 31 JANUARY/1 FEBRUARY 2022 Independently united. There will be a New Moon at 12°19’ of Aquarius, a fixed, Air sign (antiscion 17°41’ Scorpio). This is the fourth in a series of five New Moons in a row at 12° of the relative monthly sign.
VENUS STATIONS DIRECT 29 JANUARY 2022 Venus terminates her (apparent) retrograde motion and stations direct at 11°04’ Capricorn (antiscion 18°56’ Sagittarius). Venus can now be seen in the sky as a morning star.
OOB MARS ENTERS CAPRICORN ON 24 JANUARY 2022 The marathon runner... Mars is still OOB as it enters Capricorn, the sign of its exaltation, it will remain OOB until the 10th of February when it will be at 12° 43’ Capricorn.
LUNAR NODES CHANGE SIGNS ON 18th JANUARY 2022 The transiting nodes are reality checks on our soul path… On January 18th, the Lunar Nodes will ingress the Taurus/Scorpio axis after having been in the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity since May 2020. So, the modality will change from Mutable (Air-Fire) to Fixed (Earth-Water).
OOB FULL MOON IN CANCER ON 17-18 JANUARY 2022 On the 17-18 February (depending on where you find yourself in the world) there will be an OOB Full Moon at 27°50’ Cancer (antiscion 2°10’ Gemini), nurturing qualities could be at their best or, on the contrary, at their worst. The Full Moon will occur only a few hours before the direct station of Uranus and the entrance of the Lunar nodes on the Taurus-Scorpio axis.
URANUS STATIONS DIRECT ON 18 JANUARY 2022 The road ahead seems quite bumpy…. Uranus ends its yearly, five-month retrograde period at 10°49’ Taurus (antiscion 19°11’ Leo) on the 18th January and finds itself immediately in a quincunx aspect with Mars (25°49’ Sag- 10°49’ Taurus) a friction that needs to be acted upon with enthusiastic Mars tending towards a Sagittarian over-achievement and Uranus wanting to enjoy life within the limits imposed by Taurus.
MERCURY STATIONS RETROGRADE IN AQUARIUS 14 JANUARY 2022 Time to rethink plans on a more humanitarian basis Mercury makes its first retrograde station of the year at 10°20’ Aquarius (antiscion 19°40 Scorpio), over the last 12 days (since it entered Aquarius) we should have gotten used to this rather aloof, Air sign Mercury. The retrograde period will end on 3rd February when Mercury will be at 24°22’ Capricorn (antiscion 05°38’ Sagittarius).
NEW MOON IN CAPRICORN ON 2 JANUARY 2022 The New Moon, which is also OOB, will occur at 12°20’ Capricorn (antiscion 17°40’ Sagittarius). This is the 3rd consecutive New Moon at 12° of the relative signs. Capricorn is a Cardinal, Earth sign, so persons with planets or angles of the natal chart at 09-15° of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra will be particularly affected by this lunation.
MERCURY ENTERS AQUARIUS Abstract thinking or unusual facts? Mercury will stay in Aquarius until the 9th of March due to its retrograde period which starts January 14th at 10°20’ (it will re-enter Capricorn also during this time).
