Fantasy becomes reality and authenticity waivers…..
Mercury isn’t at his best in Pisces, he’s actually in his detriment and fall which obviously doesn’t help him feel good, or on the ball either for that matter. And, the planet will remain in Pisces until mid-April due to the retrograde period during which it will also re-enter Aquarius.
Mercury here tunes in his antenna, he’s the receiver of the word and thought but he has some difficulty in articulating his actual speech, and sentences often come out confused and of dubious or multiple meaning. In other words; confusion [...]
…time to try something new
This friendly, sociable, yet emotionally detached New Moon occurs at 4°21’ Aquarius (antiscion 25°39’ Scorpio).
Another Saturn-ruled (traditional) Moon, with Uranus as co-ruler in modern astrology and the 4th of six New Moons at 4° of the relative subsequent signs. This lunation will also be just a couple of degrees past a square to Uranus in Taurus so those of you with planets or angles between 2-6° of the fixed signs (Taurus-Leo-Scorpio-Aquarius) may feel rather edgy and excited in the days prior to the actual New Moon itself as a deep craving for [...]
In Aquarius, a sign co-ruled by Saturn (traditional) and Uranus (modern), Mercury is even more thirsty for knowledge, always in search of new ideas and technologies but ready to reject or even abandon them as soon as new (Uranus) becomes normal (Saturn).
Mercury in Aquarius will give us new visions, make us aware of new possibilities, allow us to envision an ideal world or society, which might be great as a theory, but much less so as a practicality.
Aquarius is a fixed Air sign so here Mercury is at home in the mind and intellect but less so on a basic gut feeling level and could get [...]
In love with love
On the 13th of January, Venus, the planet of love, romance, harmony and values, glides in to the sign of Pisces, the sign of its exaltation, ruled by Jupiter and where Neptune, modern co-ruler of Pisces, has been transiting since April 2011. On the 27th of January Venus and Neptune will be cuddling up real close.
What might that mean?
That we may be lost in a realm of fantasy, washed over by feelings of love and happiness, dreaming of a lottery win, happy in the company of all and capable of seducing all!
It might also mean that we are more gullible than usual and[...]
the mooniest Moon...probably not, this time
The most motherly of Moons opposes the sternest and most fatherly of Suns, if it was only just that.
This Full Moon eclipse, the first of 2020, will occur at 20°00’ Cancer (antisicion 10° Gemini), only hours before the Uranus station and two days prior the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn and only 2°46’ away from it.
This Lunar Eclipse mirrors the Solar Eclipse at 20° Cancer which occurred in July 2018. Does that ring any bells with anyone?
This Lunar Eclipse will be visible in any location where the Moon is above the [...]
and the unexpected becomes manifest….
Uranus ends his yearly, five-month retrograde period at 2°39’ Taurus (antiscion 27°21’ Leo) on the 10th January, only a few hours after the Lunar Eclipse.
So, what might we expect by taking Uranus at face-value in Taurus now that it is about to move direct once more?
On a mundane level, the disruption and innovation of monetary values as we now know them – Bitcoin or virtual money with less cash around and thus less freedom to spend our money without being controlled electronically. A completely new way of managing farming and food [...]
Taking a cue from astrologer Patrick Watson, we could say that Saturn thwarts Pluto just as Pluto hypes up the fear factor inherent to Saturn.
In January 2020 there will be the much-announced conjunction between Saturn and Pluto at 22°46’ Capricorn (antiscion 7°14’ Sagittarius), a Cardinal Earth sign. These two planets have been conjoined by parallel of declination for most of 2019 and this aspect will dissolve only in Spring 2020: we’ve already been experiencing this energy over the last year and many astrologers, myself included, believe the parallel conjunction to be much [...]
