A PREVIEW OF THE UPCOMING LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES I normally write my planetary transit articles well in advance of the actual dates so today I was looking into the Lunar eclipse that will take place at 25°41’ Pisces (antiscion 04°19’ Libra) on the 17-18 September. This affects me personally since the Eclipse will be opposing my natal Saturn at 25°32’ Virgo so I was interested to see what other charts in the news might be involved.

NEW MOON IN LEO 4 AUGUST 2024 ….creativity, love, respect, discipline and dreams There will be a New Moon at 12°34’ Leo (antiscion 17°26’ Taurus) on 4th of August. With all that Leo energy around (Sun-Moon-Venus all in Leo) we might feel the urge to start some new creative process to get passionate about and resort to excessive pride (another Leo characteristic) that could actually block our progress.
VENUS ENTERS VIRGO ON 4-5 AUGUST 2024 Miss Modesty Venus in Virgo intellectualises love and intimacy and is also pretty good at maths when it comes to managing finances so keeping a check on over-spending could be a welcome (and necessary for some of us) break after the Leo extravagance.
MERCURY IN VIRGO 25-26 JULY 2024 and nit-picky and worrisome come to my mind Mercury slips into its home sign of Virgo for only a brief stay before stationing retrograde at 04°06 Virgo (antiscion 25°54’ Aries) on 4-5 August. On its backward journey it will return to Leo on 14 August to station direct at 21°24’ Leo (antiscion 08°36’ Taurus) on 28 August, re-entering to the sign of Virgo on 9 September.
OOB FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN 21 JULY 2024 The second Full Moon of this lunar month (also known as a blue Moon but less rare than given to believe) will occur at 29°09’ in the serious, ambitious sign of Capricorn (antiscion 00°51’ Sagittarius) and has the flavour of the 4th-10th house axis (Cancer-Capricorn), the intimate versus the public, home versus work/career, fluidity versus rigidity etc. The Moon is OOB and as such prone to acting in an exaggerated fashion.
MARS IN GEMINI 20 JULY 2024 mental overdrive…. Mars will enter Gemini on the 20th of July, this, for many, will bring back (un)pleasant memories of Mars’ previous (too) long stay in Gemini which lasted from August 2022 to March 2023.
