Sorting out the possible from the impossible….
Saturn will station retrograde for the second time in Capricorn on the 30th of April at 20°31’ and will station direct at 13°54’ Capricorn on the 17th of September.
At the start and at the end of each retrograde period the planet gradually slows down almost to a halt. Mainly affected by this retrograde will be those charts having planets or angles between 23-10° degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). The antiscion point of 9°29’ Sagittarius is also noteworthy.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn so this [...]
exploring the dark to find the light……
Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn since 2008 and this is the eleventh retrograde period since then. The planet will station retrograde at 23° 09’ on 24th April and backtrack to 20°38’ where it will station direct on 3rd October.
The retrograde period will affect those persons with planets and/or angles in the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn between 28°-16° (allow a 5° orb applying and a 3° separating, Pluto transits are long). Look to the house axis where Pluto is transiting in your chart for indications of [...]
We all know about Solar Return charts, that precise moment in time when the Sun returns to its natal position in our birth chart. Lots of us pull up this type of chart every year in one of the three variants: Solar Return chart for our natal place of birth, Solar Return chart for a different locality than that of birth – because we’ve located to another place or because we’ve decided to spend our birthday in a different location and then there is the Precessed Solar Return chart which takes into account the natural pregression of the equinoxes and the consequent difference in planetary [...]
Forget those sweet words and dreamy thoughts now it’s time to defend our views and follow through with our plans in a “no holds barred” manner.
Mercury in Aries just loves to talk and discuss, usually being over-concerned with himself and his views and easily getting combative and argumentative so don’t let temper and sarcasm interfere with common sense and politeness!
Life may take an unexpected twist…..
This is the second Full Moon of two in Libra this year (the first one occurred on 21st March at the very beginning of the sign whilst this one is at 29°06’, a critical “all-or-nothing” degree when the planet involved expresses the sign it’s leaving in its fullest manner.
The lunation is also conjunct (Sun) and opposed (Moon) to Uranus which has only recently entered Taurus (the other sign of the dispositor of the Moon) hinting that things make not work out as planned.
Venus the dispositor of the Moon is to be found at the end of Pisces [...]
Venus, the planet of values (what WE value and desire), love and finances, enters the sign of Aries on the 20th April.
In Aries, Venus is in her mythical lover’s den (one of them, the other being in Scorpio).
Venus in Aries is full of bravado, actually she always gets what she wants in any sign, but her she’s more open and adventurous in Aries, sexual, but perhaps not sensuous, and certainly not “comfy” here. Aries and Scorpio are in fact the signs where Venus is in her detriment, where she is at least at ease in her surroundings.
So, since Venus deals with values of some kind[...]
Horary Astrology: Your Ultimate Horary Textbook with 124 Example Cases, by Ema Kurent. CIP, 2019. 460pp. ISBN 9789619463703.
When the book arrived, I was rather taken aback by the size of it: it is H-U-G-E!
However, after reading it, I came to appreciate its bulkiness and here’s why:
The author writes and explains in a clear and precise way. She explains techniques, rules, and regulations regarding the interpretation of horary astrology charts and reverts to a colloquial and easy-going style of narrative when questioning age-old interpretative methods adding her own findings which [...]
…look inside, you’ll find the answer there
Jupiter stations retrograde at 24°21’ on the 10th of April.
We have an opportunity over the next four months to turn inwards and gain deeper insights into spiritual or philosophical issues since our wisdom will flow with more ease from the subconscious to the conscious self. This is also an excellent period during which to seek out underlying beliefs concerning the current matters of the house where Jupiter is transiting in our natal chart. In this way we may come out of this retrograde period with an inner sense of wholeness and [...]
Not too fast but not too slow either…
There will be a New Moon at 15°17’ of Aries, a Cardinal, Fire sign on the 5th of April.
This New Moon is the last of seven Moons at 15° of their relative signs and it is also supercharged by being in the first sign of the traditional zodiac.
This New Moon, as the first sign in the zodiac, symbolizes the starting point of a new journey, a rise to the next level. We need to leave our comfort zone and discover new pathways and destinations, We must endeavour to develop the courage that Mars demands, which is not the absence of fear, but the [...]
