Neptune starts his yearly 5-month long retrograde season at 23°11’ in his home sign of Pisces (antiscion 06°49’ Libra) where he has been transiting since 2011-2012. This transit will activate planets or angles between 25-18° of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).
Pisces now has both its co-rulers retrograde in the sign (Jupiter and Neptune) so the emphasis really is in digging deep and reflecting about what the matters concerning the house ruled by Pisces in your chart is all about.
When Neptune [...]
The caring partner or the stingy lover…from socialite to housewife
The most motherly of signs welcomes the most loving of planets and it looks like we’re in for just over three weeks of tender, caring love or are we? Especially since Venus will remain OOB until the 18th June.
One of the images of Venus in Cancer is certainly that of the romantic figure forever in love with Prince or Princess Charming. Venus, of course, doesn’t rule only love, it also covers, among many things, finances, self-esteem and all the things that gratify us. Venus responds to everything that makes us feel [...]
After a really quick run through the sign of Aquarius, Jupiter will briefly enter the sign of Pisces on the 13th of May where it will remain for 76 days after which it will retrograde back into Aquarius on the 28th July. During that time Jupiter will cover only the first two degrees of the sign, passing through them twice (first direct and then retrograde).
Jupiter is the traditional night-time ruler of Pisces, only more recently was Neptune assigned as modern co-ruler and the two will conjoin in Pisces in April 2022.
Jupiter is a hot moist, masculine planet whilst Pisces is a cold [...]
exploring the dark to find the light……
Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn since 2008 and this is the thirteenth retrograde period since then. The planet will station retrograde at 26°48’ (antiscion 3°12’ Sagittarius) on 27th April and backtrack to 24°18’ (antiscion 5°42’ Sagittarius) where it will station direct on 6th October.
The retrograde period will affect those persons with planets and/or angles in the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn between 29°-21° (allow a 5° orb applying and a 3° separating, Pluto transits are long). Look to the [...]
From Air to Water….from rational to emotional
On April 23rd Mars, the warrior, the womanizer, the risk taker, the argumentative one, the impatient, enters the sign of Cancer, the sign of emotions, the most romantic of the whole zodiac, the sensitive one. How the heck can Mars feel at home here? In fact, Cancer is the sign of fall for the planet Mars, where he least feels welcome and at ease.
Mars remains OOB until 24th May when the planet will be at 19°10’ Cancer...when Mars is OOB we can expect the energy to be fiercer which can mean being extra courageous defending our tribe or [...]
The spookiest night with a Full Moon to light up the hidden corners so that we can see the Uranus surprises even better!
The Full Moon will take place at 8°38’ Taurus (antisicion 21°22’ Leo) and will be in an almost exact (to the minute) conjunction with retrograde Uranus. It’s the second Full Moon in a calendar month (October) and as such is known as a “Blue” Moon.
The lunation chart is another of those heavy in Earth elements and Cardinal modes so we should be acting with our heads on our shoulders so to speak, moving forward with sense and practicality.
It falls on the [...]
Is the fog lifting? Nope…it’s getting thicker!
On the 28th of March Mercury will station direct at 16°05’ Pisces, a direct station after three weeks of retrograde is usually a cause for a huge sigh of relief from many of us. Unfortunately, not so this time since Mercury stations directly on Neptune (16°57’) which means more confusion due to day-dreaming and fuzzy thoughts in general.
Mercury entered Pisces on the 10th of February so by now we should be aware if not accustomed to the dreamy nature of this sign – have you been feeling mentally fuzzy too and how thick can the [...]
From serious and ambitious to friendly and gregarious. Venus in the sign of Aquarius values fairness and equal rights but can also be superficial and apparently lacking in real feelings but perhaps a bit of “distance” will do us all some good!
The only dated to watch until 28th March when Venus enters Pisces:
21st March when Venus squares Mars (23°30’ Aquarius-Taurus)
change is coming…should we follow our dream?
There will be a Full Moon at 00°42’ of the sign of Virgo on February 19th. Virgo is a mutable Earth sign ruled by Mercury.
Foremost, it is worth noting that this Full Moon will be on the antiscion of 29°18’ Aries almost the actual position of Uranus to the minute. Another annotation is that the Full Moon is conjunct the Royal Fixed Star Regulus now to be found at 0°04’ Virgo (it entered the sign of Virgo in 2011), this is usually considered a fortunate star conferring public prominence and great honour among its better effects.
Mars will conjoin Uranus at the anaretic degree (29°) on the 13th on February. Both planets are pushing to express their Aries qualities to the fullest. It’s a turn-around point with a sense of transition to it. These two planets together have a very explosive nature and even more so being in Aries, the lets-do-it-my-way sign par excellence. So, if you have planets in the very late degrees of the Cardinal signs be prepared for some rash behaviour and surprises.
