After being rather uncomfortable in Taurus, the sign of his detriment, where sensuality and stubbornness perhaps added to the planet’s allure, Mars is now ready for mental rationality, quick thinking, dexterity and perhaps even some maverick moves. Mars in Gemini is rather unleashed and free to prank around as and if he pleases, Gemini is, after all, a smart-ass sign that nearly always manages to have the last word, well, sometimes, all the words, since the gift of the gab certainly is part of this socialite sign.
Is the fog lifting? Nope…it’s getting thicker! On the 28th of March Mercury will station direct at 16°05’ Pisces, a direct station after three weeks of retrograde is usually a cause for a huge sigh of relief from many of us. Unfortunately, not so this time since Mercury stations directly on Neptune (16°57’) which means more confusion due to day-dreaming and fuzzy thoughts in general.Mercury entered Pisces on the 10th of February so by now we should be aware if not accustomed to the dreamy nature of this sign – have you been feeling mentally fuzzy too and how thick can the fog really[...]
The Pisces party continues…On the 26th of March, Venus, the planet of love, romance, harmony and values, glides in to the sign of Pisces, the sign of its exaltation, ruled by Jupiter (traditional) and Neptune (modern).Although the Sun has just left Pisces we still have Mercury, Neptune and now Venus there. However, until the 31st, when Mars enters Gemini, we will have a lack of the Air element in the skies which means that seeing the big picture and planning ahead could be difficult.
If you love me then set me free…..Only three and a half hours after the Spring Equinox (Aries ingress) there will be a Full Moon at 00°09’ Libra, a Cardinal, Air sign ruled by Venus. This is the first Full Moon of two in Libra this year (the second one occurs on 19th April on the last degree of the sign).
How can we see clearly? There will be a New Moon at 15°47’ Pisces, a Mutable, Water sign ruled by Neptune (modern) and Jupiter (traditional) only hours after Uranus makes its entrance into Taurus. The Sun and Moon in Pisces will be closely conjunct Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces with Mercury stationing retrograde at the end of this sign. This could make sensitivity and imagination top-rank allowing the veil between worlds to be lifted, thus giving us a possibility to see the past and the future as we gain major receptivity to subliminal messages from our own soul (Pisces and Neptune are [...]
Shake, rattle and roll…..Uranus moves into Taurus at 8.28 GMT on the 6th of March only 8 hours before the New Moon in Pisces.Uranus has an 84-year orbit and spends roughly 7 years in each sign. It was discovered in 1781 by an amateur astronomer named William Herschel and, in more modern times, was given joint ruler-ship of the sign of Aquarius together with traditional ruler Saturn.
MERCURY STATIONS RETROGRADE IN PISCES Confusion reigns and we have to make some sense of it! On the 5th of March we will have the first Mercury retrograde station of 2019. The planet apparently seems to stop in its tracks at the very end of the sign of Pisces (29°38’) before beginning its seemingly backward motion to reach 16°05’ Pisces where it will station direct on 28th March. Mercury entered Pisces on the 10th of February so by now we should be aware if not accustomed to the dreamy nature of this sign – have you been feeling mentally fuzzy too? Mercury retrogrades have become [...]
VENUS ENTERS AQUARIUS IL 2ND MARCH 2019From serious and ambitious to friendly and gregarious. Venus in the sign of Aquarius values fairness and equal rights but can also be superficial and apparently lacking in real feelings but perhaps a bit of “distance” will do us all some good!
FULL MOON IN VIRGO 19th FEBRUARY 2019 change is coming…should we follow our dream? There will be a Full Moon at 00°42’ of the sign of Virgo on February 19th. Virgo is a mutable Earth sign ruled by Mercury. Foremost, it is worth noting that this Full Moon will be on the antiscion of 29°18’ Aries almost the actual position of Uranus to the minute. Another annotation is that the Full Moon is conjunct the Royal Fixed Star Regulus now to be found at 0°04’ Virgo (it entered the sign of Virgo in 2011), this is usually considered a fortunate star conferring public prominence and [...]
MARS ENTERS TAURUS ON 14TH FEBRUARY 2019 How appropriate that Mars enters the sign of Venus on San Valentine’s day! From daredevil and impossible to sensual and possessive. Mars in Taurus thrives on security, safety, routine and organization, slow to warm up but super passionate once the fire is lit.
