The first of three conjunctions between these planets in Capricorn, the others taking place on 30th June (24°06’ R) and 12th November (22°51’) this year. This one occurs at 24°53’ Capricorn with both planets being direct (antiscion 5°07’ Sagittarius) still within orb of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction which took place in mid-January this year. Jupiter-Pluto conjunctions occur approximately every 12.5-13 years, the last one was a one-time hit in the sign of Sagittarius in December 2007, it usually brings with it a great desire for power or knowledge in some form associated with [...]
From Earth to Air, from sensual to frivolous…it’s party time! This will be a super-long stay in the sign of Gemini since Venus will turn retrograde on 12th May until 24th June and the planet will also be out-of-bounds (OOB) reaching a far-out North declination of 27°49’ from 2nd April until 4th of May. Let’s expect some really out-of-the-box manifestations of Venus in Gemini traits over the next weeks. Venus in Gemini is known for being flirty and also for its refined social skills although it dislikes commitment both sentimentally and financially. Venus in Gemini enjoys a lot [...]
...unusual, eccentric, crazy and revolutionary Having left the sign of its exaltation to find itself peregrine, in Aquarius we could find Mars fighting for the masses or fighting to impress since he has a strong sense of individualism and eccentricity as he pursues his goals. To the point that he prefers to see how much he differs from the norm rather than trying to understand how much he has in common with his peers. In this sign Mars can be really independent, sometimes unpredictable and often uncompromising as he tries to force his views and opinions on others or tries to convince [...]
Could be very insidious... The New Moon (the first of the astrological year) will occur at 4°12’ Aries (antiscion 25°48’ Virgo). The last of a series of six New Moons at 4° of their respective signs it finds itself on a very important degree since it is square to the Solar Eclipse of December 2019 at 4° Capricorn and thus activates the eclipse. In December we were first hearing about the Coronavirus in distant, or so it seemed, China. This is a me, me, me, action-oriented New Moon squaring the sign of Capricorn which is loaded with “heavy” planets equally action-oriented [...]
on the bright side it could be manifest as new social tolerance, perhaps.... Starting March 22nd Saturn makes its first, brief ingress into the sign of Aquarius where it will remain until 2nd July before retrograding into Capricorn until the 20th December, when the important “grand” conjunction will occur at 0° Aquarius and where the planet will remain for approximately two and a half years. Saturn spent the last two and a half years in Capricorn where it was perfectly at ease (cold, dry planet in a cold, dry Earth sign) and where it made the (in)famous conjunction with Pluto in [...]
then, now and..... Charts used but not shown: Italian Republic 10th June 1946, 18.10, Rome, Italy Restrictive procedure: 10th March 2020, 08.30, Rome, Italy Firstly, lets consider the natal chart for the Republic of Italy, and in particular the secondary progressions at 10th March 2020, when the new restrictive order became law after its publication in the “Gazzetta Ufficiale” at 8.30 on 10th March 2020 in Rome. The SP Sun is at 29° Leo, conjunct the fixed Royal star Regulus, which can confer fortune and fame but its benefits do not always last. The 29° itself is a critical [...]
Don’t get too wrapped up in the details... This Full Moon will occur at 19°37’ Virgo (antiscion 10°23’ Aries). Moon’s dispositor Mercury is stationing direct in the ultra-rational Air sign of Aquarius on this very day and only a few hours after the Full Moon event. The Moon itself, alone in detail-oriented Virgo is supported by the stellium of planets in Capricorn (Mars, Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn) which should be able to put tangibility, reason, energy and a certainty of sorts to this Earthy Moon as it leaves the opposition with foggy Neptune in Pisces which could have [...]
A bit of clarity before more fog descends... The direct station will occur at 28°14’ Aquarius (antiscion 1°46’ Scorpio), a Fixed, Air sign so completely different from the Mutable, Water sign that Mercury left when he embarked on his retrograde motion. Much of the retrograde period however has been spent in Pisces adding to the somewhat normal confusion and fogginess of Mercury’s transit in that sign albeit a fantastic place for the more spiritually inclined. How was this Mercury retrograde for you? For me, with 4 Mutable planets, it was disorientating to say the least. A [...]
