URANUS STATIONS RETROGRADE IN GEMINI …… can we cope with surprises? Uranus starts his yearly, five-month retrograde period at 05°42 Gemini on 10 September (antiscion 24°18’ Cancer) which ends 08 February 2027 when the planet stations direct at 01°41’ Gemini. When planets station, they usually manifest all their power. Uranus represents revolution and change as well as the need to be free and independent, above all from responsibility. The planet governs science and technology as well as astrology it also lends an “aloof” feeling or impression to any planet it makes or[...]
MARS IN GEMINI mental overdrive…. Mars will enter Gemini on 28 June. After being rather uncomfortable in Taurus, the sign of his detriment, where sensuality and stubbornness perhaps added to the planet’s allure, Mars is now ready for mental rationality, quick thinking, dexterity and perhaps even some maverick moves. Mars in Gemini is rather unleashed and free to prank around as and if he pleases, Gemini is, after all, a smart-ass sign that nearly always manages to have the last word, well, sometimes, all the words, since the gift of the gab certainly is part of this socialite [...]
OOB NEW MOON IN GEMINI keeping calm may be a problem.... The OOB New Moon will occur at 24°03’ Gemini (antiscion 05°57’ Cancer). This is a very inquisitive, intellectual Moon, hard to pin down emotionally due to its constantly changing feelings caused by its tendency to over-rationalise everything. Under pressure this Moon is not very reliable and commitment issues may surface. New Moons are times when we are invited to set our intentions for the month to come regarding that area of our life which the Moon is illuminating in this lunar phase. People most affected by this [...]
MERCURY ENTERS GEMINI AND GOES OOB* Mentally unhinged? Mercury enters one of the signs that it rules on 17 May and goes OOB at 12° of the sign on the 22 May remaining in this condition until the 14 June when it will be at 17° Cancer. Mercury is obviously in his element here, a rational and agile thinker open to new ideas and experimentations, puns and intellectual flexibility are also part of the game although Mercury is also the prankster of the zodiac and here words could be used to alter the truth in some way! The OOB status could make this planet very versatile indeed with [...]
OOB FULL MOON IN GEMINI ...focus is what we need on this last Full Moon of 2025 in chatty, social Gemini There will be a OOB Full Moon at 13°03’ Gemini (antiscion 16°57’ Cancer). The OOB lunation will not only be on the same degree as the Lunar nodal axis but it will also be exactly square to it too. Being on the degree of the nodes gives particular relevance to the planets involved, (Ivy G.J., Pat Geisler) in this case Moon and Sun and to add to the “fun” the dispositors of the nodes and the Sun-Moon are the same! (North Node and Sun ruled by Jupiter R, South Node and [...]
URANUS STATIONS RETROGRADE IN GEMINI …… can we cope with surprises? After a tentative entrance in Gemini on the 7th of July, Uranus starts his yearly, five-month retrograde period at 01°27’ Gemini on 05-06 September (antiscion 28°33’ Cancer) which lasts until 03 February 2026 when the planet stations direct at 27°27’ Taurus. When planets station, they usually manifest all their power. Uranus represents revolution and change as well as the need to be free and independent, above all from responsibility. The planet governs science and technology as well as astrology it [...]
JUPITER IN GEMINI STATIONS DIRECT After its annual 5-month retrograde period Jupiter will station direct on the 03-04 February 2025 at 11°16’ Gemini (antiscion 18°44’ Cancer). Jupiter in Gemini enjoys Ptolemaic dignity by term between 7-13.59° and by face in the first ten degrees of the sign but it is also in detriment for the whole length of its stay there. So, it’s not a particularly well-functioning planet in this sign but it is also a hot, moist masculine planet and Gemini, being an Air sign, is also hot, moist and masculine so it does have accidental dignity to help it [...]
FULL MOON IN GEMINI …focus is what we need There will be a Full Moon at 23°53’ Gemini on the 15th of December (antiscion 06°07’ Cancer) only eleven hours before Mercury in Sagittarius stations direct, thus in opposition by sign (not degree) to the Full Moon and in Mutual Reception by dignity (each in one another’s sign) as well as being in opposition to Jupiter R (by degree) which is presently transiting the sign of Gemini. As we all know, full moons are when matters that have been simmering under the surface emerge to be dealt with. This lunation occurs on the 3rd-9th house [...]
AT WHAT POINT DOES TOO MUCH BECOME TOO MUCH? On 14 August Mars conjoins Jupiter (16°40’ Gemini, antiscion 13°20’ Cancer) in the mentally stimulated, socially active sign of Gemini. Mars is in minor essential dignity in Gemini but Jupiter is in his detriment, neither will be inclined to be on their best behaviour and exuberance may abound with excess mental activity and weird bombastic ideas, there may also be accidents and incidents regarding travel, particularly air (Gemini) travel. Only a few hours later, Mars and then Jupiter (5 days) move into a square aspect with Saturn R in [...]
NEW MOON IN GEMINI 6 JUNE 2024 keeping calm may be a problem.... The New Moon will occur at 16°18’ Gemini (antiscion 13°42’ Cancer).
