• FULL MOON IN ARIES 25TH SEPTEMBER 2018 AND MARS RETURNS IN-BOUNDS

  • …the right measure?

Only a couple of days after the Autumn Equinox there will be a Full Moon at 1°59’ Aries on the 25th of September (GMT). Aries is a Cardinal, Fire sign and this lunation will largely affect those with planets/angles between 0-4° of the Cardinal signs of Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and, of course, Aries.

The Moon’s dispositor, Mars, has just returned in-bounds after a long 2.5 month OOB period (also being retrograde for the most of this period) and is sextiling the Moon and trining the Sun, somewhat easy-going aspects to this rather volatile planet that could give the right dose of energy rather than exaggerating it. The Aries “me first” energy should be easier to contemplate in the optics of Libran “let’s work it out together” even more so with serious Saturn squaring both planets from its home sign of Capricorn…being responsible is a must and the conjunction (although separating) between Sun and Mercury will also help us formulate only the essential in our communications even when we have to contend with unresolved and unsatisfactory past actions (Mars conjunct Lunar South Node).

Full Moons are moments when matters peak concerning the house axis where it falls, for good or for bad, and some of these matters could involve any intentions you might have set on the previous New Moon which took place fifteen days ago.

It falls on the 1-7th house axis in the traditional horoscope (Aries-Libra) and involves such issues as; me vs we, what I want vs what we want, fighting vs cooperation, assertion vs compromise etc.

Author, Raven Kaldera, in his book “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this the

    “Warrior’s Moon”

On this Moon he writes that we fight for what we believe in, often in a lone battle with our own interior demons during which time we also learn the virtue of patience and compromise.

The Sabian symbol for Moon at 2° Aries: “A comedian reveals human nature.” Indicating the capacity to look objectively at oneself and at others.

For the Sun at 2° Libra: “The transmutation of the fruits of past experiences into the seed-realisations of the forever creative spirit.” Indicating a repolarisation of inner energies leading to a creative centralisation of consciousness.

“I make us better by competing with you.” Toba Beta, My Ancestor Was an Ancient Astronaut

HOW WILL THIS FULL MOON AFFECT YOUR CHART?
