The New Moon in Libra is all about relationships!! This includes social as well as romantic liaisons so it’s time to set our intentions on getting along with people!In his book “Moon Phase Astrology”, Raven Kaldera calls this New Moon the “White Knight’s Moon”, he wants to do right, correct wrongs and rescue people who should then show gratitude to him (according to his view of the world).
Libra is the sign of the Scales which continuously swing back and forth trying to find balance. On one side of these scales we find Venus (the ruler of Libra) who desires that things be harmonious, loving and beautiful but Libra is an Air sign, so things have to be rational too, and the idea of justice at any cost becomes rather abstract. The need for justice doesn’t require things to be necessarily pretty just as long as they are fair but beauty is often unfair and justice is often unbeautiful so Libra swings back and forth between the two sides of the Scales looking for harmony.
With this New Moon the balance swings towards justice so hence the desire to do right and correct wrongs etc.
Therefore, on this New Moon we need to examine our ideals and whether we’re willing to fight for them and if the result we expect to obtain will make us happy.
Before becoming exact, the Moon will make a square aspect to Uranus in Aries at 18° 27’, under thisinfluence making hasty decisions and jumping to conclusions should be avoided likewise reacting negatively to anything that is said to us. We might also crave excitement and may experience emotional upsets either at a psychological or practical level but the aspect is fleeting and only lasts a few hours.
