THE ASTROLOGICAL YEAR 2024

Hi all, here’s quick overview of the main astrological events taking place in 2024.

The astrological highlights of this year put the focus on the last degrees of Capricorn and the very first degrees of Aquarius as Pluto dodges back and forth between the signs before entering Aquarius for its definite stay on the 19^th of November until year 2043. Many of the those with planets in the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) have had trying times since the planet entered the sign in 2008 and this final 3-hit aspect over the last degrees again in the coming year has and will continue to cause tremendous and irrevocable changes in many lives.

Neptune continues its stay in home-sign Pisces as it too approaches the final five degrees of the sign and involves planets and angles in the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces). Certainly, less dramatic than the Pluto transit, Neptune nevertheless slowly dissolves and confounds what we think of as certainties.

Uranus now in the last ten degrees of Taurus (this will affect the Fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) and with the upcoming conjunction to Jupiter in April is cause for speculation on a global level about financial matters as well as concerns about the increasing climate change in addition to volcanic eruptions and earthquakes to mention only a few things. The last time these two planets were conjoined in Taurus was in 1941, the WWII years when depression and financial strife caused by the war became evident on an almost world-wide level.

Saturn continues along his path in Pisces covering the first twenty degrees during the year, issues with water and fishing rights, giving new credibility to spirituality, blurring boundaries between states as well as a probable wake-up call on a more personal level if planets are involved in your own charts. This transit will affect the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces).

Jupiter, in Taurus until the 25^th May usually brings joy to the sign its transits and will affect the Fixed signs from 5-30° (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius). When it enters Gemini, it will give a positive vibe and a hopefully a more rosy outlook to the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) with degrees also involved in the Saturn transit!

On a final note, Mars enters Leo in early November and due to its retrograde period will remain between the signs of Leo/Cancer/Leo until mid-June 2025 when it finally enters Virgo. All in all around 5 months in Leo, that’s a lot of heat added to this already fiery planet and it will also be OOB from end 2024 until 7 April 2025. Here again the Fixed and the Cardinal signs will feel most this energy.
