MERCURY ENTERS THE SIGN OF VIRGO…..and nit-picky and worrisome come to my mind
Mercury enters Virgo, one of the signs it rules and it will remain there an unusually long time, well over the month that it habitually stays in one sign.
It will in fact leave Virgo on the 4-5th October this year. During that time it will also make the third of its annual retrograde periods which this year all take place in the Earth signs (SR 23/08 at 21°51’, SD 15/09 at 08°00’). I will be writing more in detail about this nearer the time.
Mercury in Virgo is very analytical and rather sceptical and could also become quite fastidious, even nagging, in its love of detail.
Before it’s retrograde period Mercury will oppose Saturn R on the 1-2 August at 05°38’ (Virgo-Pisces) this could induce us to be less harsh with our own shortcomings since Saturn in Pisces may fear rules or it may try to enforce them in a less rigid manner.
There will also be the first of three trine aspects to Jupiter on 09-10 August at 14°31’ (Virgo-Taurus) giving us the possibility for optimism but don’t let things get too out of perspective!
It’s certainly going to be an interesting ride, particularly for the Mutable signs of Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces and Gemini.
