  • Full Moon in GeminiOOB FULL MOON IN GEMINI

…focus is what we need on this last Full Moon of 2025 in chatty, social Gemini

There will be a OOB Full Moon at 13°03’ Gemini (antiscion 16°57’ Cancer).

The OOB lunation will not only be on the same degree as the Lunar nodal axis but it will also be exactly square to it too. Being on the degree of the nodes gives particular relevance to the planets involved, (Ivy G.J., Pat Geisler) in this case Moon and Sun and to add to the “fun” the dispositors of the nodes and the Sun-Moon are the same! (North Node and Sun ruled by Jupiter R, South Node and Moon ruled by Mercury). This to be seems to me like our leaders and the people (us) need to work together to find a way to go forward before it becomes too late to put the pieces together again.

Venus and Sun are conjoined in the lunation chart, our leaders might try to blindside us with their seemingly sweet manners but inconsistency and foolhardiness are barely under the surface.

Furthermore, Mercury (ruler of the Moon) is parallel the Fixed Star Zuben Elgenubi (also known as South Scale) which according to Ptolemy is of the nature of Saturn and Mars. Robson explains that with Mercury it might be revengeful and treacherous. Jupiter R (ruler of the Sun) is conjunct the Fixed Star Pollux, also of the nature of Mars according to Ptolemy, with Jupiter Robson gives legal losses and high position but danger of disgrace among the several interpretations.

The Moon’s dispositor, Mercury, is in Scorpio, the Sun’s dispositor, Jupiter, retrograde, is in Cancer and they form a trine aspect which is part of a Grand Water trine with Saturn and Neptune R forming the third leg. Emotions are barely kept in check. Mercury is also forming an opposition to Uranus R (also in sextile to the Saturn-Neptune R conjunction in Pisces) which will activate the GT and keep the ball rolling for still more secrets to be unexpectedly aired. OOB Mars is also activating the GT by making a square aspect to the Saturn-Neptune R conjunction adding some kind of exceptionally “drawn out” action in getting the secret information out to the public.

As we all know, full moons are when matters that have been simmering under the surface emerge to be dealt with. This lunation occurs on the 3rd-9th house axis (Gemini-Sagittarius); how I think vs how they think, short trips vs long journeys, reason vs intuition etc. Both signs are concerned with gathering and spreading knowledge as well as education and travel.  There is a distinction between them however, Gemini collects the news and the chit-chat whilst Sagittarius studies the information and puts it out into the world.

It will most affect those with planets or angles in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces keeping a tight orb around 2°.

So this Full Moon highlights the connection between our beliefs, our dreams and real life and brings up questions such as “What part am I playing in my life?”, “Which archetypes am I manifesting?”, “How much control do I have over these matters?”

Author Raven Kaldera in his book “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this Full Moon in Gemini

    “The Storyteller’s Moon”

He writes that this is an excellent time to enjoy a good book or movie, to sit around with friends confiding your life story or to start a diary where you jot down your most intimate and heartfelt truths about yourself.

The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 14° Gemini: “Bridging physical space and social distinctions, two men communicate telepathically.” Indicating the capacity to transcend the limitations of bodily existence.

For the antiscion at 17° Cancer: “The unfoldment of multilevel potentialities issuing from an original germ.” Indicating the life urge to actualise one’s birth potential.

For the Sun at 14° Sagittarius: “The great pyramid and the Sphinx.” Indicating the enduring power of occult knowledge and of the quasi-divine Custodians, “seed-men” of a previous cycle of existence.

“Let us accept truth, even when it surprises us and alters our views.” George Sand
