The OOB Full Moon will occur at 13°01’ Cancer, a Cardinal, Water sign (antiscion 16°59’ Gemini) and will be the first Full Moon of 2026. The most motherly of Moons opposes the sternest and most fatherly of Suns which has OOB Venus on one side and OOB Mars on the other, both combust. OOB Moon is in a wide conjunction with Jupiter R.
OOB MERCURY MOVES INTO CAPRICORN 01 JANUARY 2026 ….a suddenly serious mood as the year begins Today, OOB Mercury barges out of Sagittarius with the usual bluntness and awkwardness that often characterises his sojourn there and bounces into Capricorn. After fun-loving Sagittarius this will certainly hit him with force, dampening his mood and deepening his thoughts and encouraging all of us to think, plan and talk in a much more serious fashion.
DAYS ONE TO THREE The New Year will certainly start off with a bang of sorts since from 1-3 January 2026 there will be four personal planets all OOB and they will also be involved in the Full Moon in Cancer on 3 January with Mars and Venus both combust by the proximity to the Sun. VENUS OOB ENTERS CAPRICORN ON 24 DECEMBER 2025 From frivolous and gaudy to self-possessed and distinct. Social propriety and etiquette, at least on a public level, mean a lot to this rather ambitious placement for Venus, less so perhaps in the bedroom, but that is a side that Venus Capricorn would prefer to keep private! Venus’s contours are finely chiselled and with a distinct “no frills attached” attitude in this serious sign. Ambition is often part of the picture too.
OOB NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS ON 19-20 DECEMBER 2025 ……new beginnings? I wish There will be an OOB New Moon at 28°24’ Sagittarius (antiscion 01°36’ Capricorn) and it will be the third of a series of six consecutive new moons on this degree of the relative signs. One might suppose that with Jupiter being the dispositor of this New Moon things might be on an upward curve after the past two rather intense lunations. A moment of respite and hope after despair.

The OOB lunation will not only be on the same degree as the Lunar nodal axis but it will also be exactly square to it too.
