warm and friendly is the key….
There will be a New Moon at 5°20’ Libra on the 28th September (antiscion 24°40’ Pisces).
Being in Libra, this will be all about relationships and fairness. And, being a New Moon of course it could be the start of a new relationship for some or a new beginning in an existing relationship for others but it could also be about any kind of relationship depending on the house where it falls in your chart and the aspect it may or may not make to any personal planets or angles. It could also be a good time to see things from the other person’s point of view, not only what might be missing from the relationship for it to be good for you but also about what you’re bringing to the relationship too…remember, Libra is about fairness and harmony.
Although with Libra’s ruler, Venus, now also transiting Libra, some relationships could become very flirtatious or, on the other hand, indecision and superficiality could also reign supreme! The partile sextile between Venus and Jupiter (both strong in their own signs) could bring an opportunity to expand foreign contacts likewise to meet a lover from a different culture or country or it could also suggest that great pleasure is found in a new belief or interest which serves our highest good.
The New Moon is also quincunx a retrograde Uranus in Taurus, Venus’s other home sign, Uranus finds itself 8th signs after Libra indicating that there could be an unexpected ending of some sort connected with Venus matters and the house it occupies and rules in your chart. Learning to let go of the past means being willing to release relationships you have outgrown.
There are presently four positive (and for some fun) planets in the Air sign of Libra (Moon, Sun, Venus, Mercury) and this stellium will certainly help people to be more easy-going although at times a bit wishy-washy due to the difficulty of decision-making.
In traditional astrology this New Moon falls on the 7th-1st house axis which is about relating to others on a personal basis versus relating to self and trying to find the right balance between the two (which is also about Libra too).
Author, Raven Kaldera, in his book “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this Moon the “White Knight’s Moon” and describes it as putting the focus on justice and discerning right from wrong and according to him this Moon is a great time to examine our ideals and adjust them if necessary.
The Sabian symbol for 6° Libra: “A man watches his ideals taking a concrete form before his inner vision.” Indicating the need to visualise clearly one’s dreams or ideals in order to make them truly effectual.
For the antiscion at 25° Pisces: “A religious organisation succeeds in overcoming the corrupting influence of perverted practices and materialised ideals.” Indicating the power of the Soul to intervene in the personal life and to induce necessary catharses.
And, since Libra is also the sign of indecision and trying to please:
“Those are my principles. If you don’t like them, I have others.” Grouch Marx
