NEPTUNE STATIONS DIRECT IN PISCES

The fog will lift…but the lies may continue

For the final run in Pisces after 14 years of permanence!!!

Neptune turns direct on 10 December at 29°22’ Pisces (antiscion 00°38’ Libra). This means that uncertainties or lack of clarity that you have been internalizing and that may have surfaced from the past, finally start to lift as the fog clears (look to the house where you have Pisces on the cusp to see where the fogginess may have been manifesting for you as well as the sign/house/aspects of your natal Neptune). Neptune transiting through the houses has the effect of “dissolving” the matters concerning that particular house and although the process is usually very long it is nevertheless constant.

Neptune has been sitting at 29° Pisces since the 21 of October and will leave this “all-or-nothing” degree to enter Aries on 27 January 2026. All this time the planet has also been conjoined to the Fixed Star Scheat which according to Ptolemy is of the nature of Mars and Mercury and is not considered a particularly fortunate Star. During these months the planet has also been in opposition to the partial Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo which took place on 21 September and is thus activating the Eclipse. This was a South Node eclipse and considered not particularly fortunate. At that time I wrote the following about the Eclipse:

“The New Moon is antiscion Neptune R, no-one (leaders and people) seems to have clarity, Moon in particular being // both Neptune and Mercury (dispositor of the New Moon) seems to be in a complete mind fuzz about what to believe or say. The New Moon is also opposite Saturn R which will hopefully act as a safeguard against any rash behaviour since both Sun and Moon are peregrine in Virgo and as such neither really know what they are doing.”

In this Neptune station, Saturn, now direct, is still in close contact with Neptune and also still in opposition to the Eclipse, (at the time of the Eclipse the opposition aspect was exact) however Neptune is now the closest planet in the opposition aspect and being ruler of the sign of Pisces will probably override whatever little (or any at all) restraint there might be from Saturn leaving us with more deception and lies. Since September we have also had many people protesting around the world against their governments and corruption in general, we may see more of that until the end of January 2026 when Neptune enters Aries in a definite way and Saturn follows suit mid-February 2026 and the music changes as Water gives way to Fire and things may get even more steamy!

I can imagine that persons with planets or angles in the last five degrees of the sign of Pisces (and the other Mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) might have felt rather “under attack” in some way over the last few months.

In earlier days Neptune was known as the planet of “chaos” meaning that the planet has little or no action upon the physical plane, it’s sphere of influence being largely confined to the psychic or emotional plane and…its influence in the natal chart will depend upon the native’s ability to respond to its vibrations.*

Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson’s take on Neptune is, as always, more matter-of-fact than most astrologers “…elusive and delusive, throwing a veil over what is real so that it appears more attractive and desirable, more ideal and mysterious. Neptune rules misinformation and subversion, defrauding schemes that collapse, fogs and films, fading away and disappearances. It possesses great beauty and naïve appeal and so Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus.”

In my experience harsh Neptune transits to personal planets in the natal chart (also the progressed chart) can be difficult to handle due to the illusory nature of the planet. It brings confusion and uncertainty into our lives, leading us to being unsure about what is and what isn’t true and leaving us feeling discouraged and undeserving. Under this influence you could also perform acts of great unselfishness as compassion and empathy undermine your own ego. The process is slow but irrevocable.

The Sabian symbol for 30° Pisces: “A majestic rock formation resembling a face is idealised by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness, and as he grows up, begins to look like it.” Indicating the power of clearly visualised ideals to mold the life of the visualiser.

For 01° Libra (antiscion): “In a collection of perfect specimens of many biological forms, a butterfly displays the beauty of its wings, its body impaled by a fine dart.” Indicating the immortal archetypal reality that a perfect and dedicated life reveals.
