NEPTUNE STATIONARY DIRECT IN PISCES ON 29 NOVEMBRE 2020 (GMT)

…..will we see clearly now?

In earlier days Neptune was known as the planet of “chaos” meaning that the planet has little or no action upon the physical plane, it’s sphere of influence being largely confined to the psychic or emotional plane and….its influence in the natal chart will depend upon the native’s ability to respond to its vibrations.*

Neptune turns direct on the 29^th November at 18° 09’ of Pisces, its own sign. Neptune transiting through the houses has the effect of “dissolving” the matters concerning that particular house and the process is usually very long but nevertheless constant.

Also worth noting is the antiscion point of the station at 11°51’ Libra.

Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson’s take on Neptune is, as always, more matter-of-fact “…elusive and delusive, throwing a veil over what is real so that it appears more attractive and desirable, more ideal and mysterious. Neptune rules misinformation and subversion, defrauding schemes that collapse, fogs and films, fading away and disappearances. It possesses great beauty and naïve appeal and so Neptune is considered the higher octave of Venus.”

In my experience harsh Neptune transits to personal planets in the natal chart (also the progressed chart) can be difficult to handle due to the illusory nature of the planet. Neptune brings confusion and uncertainty into our lives, leading us to being unsure about what is and what isn’t true and leaving us feeling discouraged and undeserving whilst hopefully slowly teaching us the importance of being less egoistic, a hard lesson for many of us to conquer. The process is slow but irrevocable and Neptunian themes seem to have been afflicting more than the usual number of people over the last months with many unable to discern the truth from deceitfulness – for some the propension to believe in fairy tales has become their day-to-day reality.

On the day of its station, Neptune will not be making any Ptolomaic aspects to the other planets but it will be square to the nodal axis and applying to the North Node. This could indicate that the future seems yet more unclear and nebulous with truth and facts being further distorted to appear something that they are not.

The Sabian symbol for 19° Pisces: “A master instructing his disciple.” Indicating the transfer of power and knowledge which keeps the original spiritual and creative impulse of the cycle active and undeviated.

For 12° Libra (antiscion): “Miners are surfacing from a deep coal mine.” Indicating the need to carry on at ever deeper levels the quest for knowledge which keeps burning the fires of the collective mind of a society.
