MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT the great revealer….
Mercury stations direct at 20°42’ in the sign of Scorpio (antiscion 09°18’ Aquarius) after its 20-day retrograde period which started on 9 November.
It’s now time to get things moving again after having the opportunity to re-think matters especially in the areas of our lives regarding how we consistently respond to emotional cues and how we might be able to change those habits if we believe them damaging. If you were busy hiding secrets during this retrograde now is the time that they will pop out of the closet…which could be embarrassing.
A lot of secrets could come out when Mercury transits the enigmatic sign of Scorpio. Mainly because Mercury in Scorpio is a great detective, uncovering things that some or most of us would rather pull the carpet over.
Mercury might also go overboard in insults when and if perceiving wrong-doing and ideas and thoughts could get very fixed and obsessive too.
On the plus side with this transit…nothing, absolutely nothing, will be taboo (conversation-wise)!
Some interesting aspects:
06 December: trine Jupiter R (24°08’ Scorpio-Cancer) – don’t make things bigger than they actually are.
07 December: trine Saturn (25°14’ Scorpio-Pisces) – slow progress and the possibility to do some serious thinking.
10 December: opposite Uranus R (28°39’ Scorpio-Taurus) – changing views quickly, being a poor listener, speaking without thinking, freedom of thought and maybe some amazing insights.
11 December: trine Neptune (29 °22’ Scorpio-Pisces) – creative thinking, day-dreaming, plans that come up now could be become reality since Neptune turned direct only a few hours ago.
Mercury therefore forms a transiting Grand Water Trine with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Pisces and Jupiter R in Cancer this is triggered by the Mercury opposition to Uranus R which is simultaneously sextile to Saturn-Neptune and Jupiter. Hidden secrets could still keep surfacing and shock us all with their now no longer hidden truths.
Sabian symbol for 21° Scorpio: “Obeying his conscience, a soldier resists orders.” Indicating a readiness to face the results of a refusal to follow the authoritarian patterns of an aggressive society.
For the antiscion at 10° Aquarius: “A man who had for a time become the embodiment of a popular ideal is made to realise that as a person he is not this ideal.” Indicating the need to deal with human beings as persona rather than as screens upon which one projects one’s dream and ideal.
