Thoughts, plans and emotions should now be disentangled Mercury stations direct on 12th July at 5°29’ Cancer (antiscion 24°31’ Gemini).
Cancer, being a Water sign, is all about feelings and emotions and, being ruled by the Moon, how these fluctuate in time.
Mercury is a little out of sync in Cancer, finding some minor dignity only between 10-20° of the sign. Being a Water sign, Cancer is far too emotional for “all-in-my-head” Mercury.
Retrograde planets seemingly interfere with the normal ongoing flow of activities represented by that planet in the outer world.
This retrograde should have been great for processing those emotions that we’ve been experiencing over the last months since the most recent Mercury retrograde which took place in Pisces-Aquarius in February-March this year.
Home loving Cancer gives the necessary nuance to this very rational Mercury and assists us in really delving deep into how our emotions work and how we can nurture ourselves and others in a more befitting manner and the retrograde period should have helped us make plans about how to put these new notions into action now that the planet is about to move forward once more.
