  • Full Moon in LibraFULL MOON IN LIBRA

The Full Moon will occur at 23°19’ Libra (antiscion 06°41’ Pisces) the very same that Moon’s dispositor, Venus, will station direct in Pisces, the sign of her exaltation.

Full Moons are when matters climax, they are “now or never” moments regarding any projects we have initiated or intentions set at the preceding New Moon/Solar Eclipse fourteen days ago.

This lunation takes place on the 7th-1st house axis, Libra-Aries the “you” vs “me”, compromise vs assertion, relationship vs independence etc. Most affected by this Full Moon are those people with planets or angles in the Cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Allow a 2° orb for contacts.

The Full Moon is the base of an applying Cardinal T-square with a Mars apex. A Cardinal T-square is dynamic and often assertive, and this one has a separating trine aspect plugging into it from the Moon to Jupiter also, Venus, Saturn and Mercury are all in trine to Mars which is the apex. Heads and hearts (leaders and people) are against each other, and would ideally need to find a compromise, although in the days previous to the lunation our hearts (people) were probably very much concerned with our well-being (Moon trine Jupiter) and how this could be obtained in a practical, restrained and less-indulgent manner (Venus-Saturn trine), the trine to Mars from a badly debilitated Mercury could make our problems even more difficult to resolve. Mars is also on the degree of the nodes, both head and hearts (leaders and people) are fighting for our respective tribes and protecting our own interests and with Mars ruling the Sun it would seem that our heads (leaders) have the edge for the moment if not for the fact that Moon rules Mars!!

Neptune is also on the Aries point, confusion might still be the name of the game particularly in any kind of combat tactics.

Venus, dispositor of this Full Moon is stationary and, as aforementioned, applying a trine to Mars, Venus is exalted in Pisces so harmony is what the people really want and this is so very different from the ego-centric desires of the leaders. Moon is also conjunct the Fixed star Spica which is considered fortunate whilst Sun is parallel Fixed star Altair which promises public honour and notoriety but also ill-health and losses according to V. Robson. Jupiter is parallel Mars and both are c-parallel to Pluto a very volatile combo of planets in any situation.

The Elements in the lunation chart show a predominance of Water and Air, not a brilliant combination since future plans may be based on gut feelings instead of practical solutions, the Modalities have only two planets in the Fixed modality so although we might be able to see ahead and set off on the journey we unfortunately won’t have enough staying power to really get things done in the long run.

    Author Raven Kaldera calls it

    the “Artist’s Moon”

according to him, it’s a great time to start creative projects and an even better time to pick up those creative projects you’ve put aside or forgot about or lost inspiration in. It’s also a good time to go public with your art (or your talents I might add).

The Sabian symbol for 24° Libra: “A butterfly with a third wing on its left side.” Indicating the ability to develop, for inner strengthening, new modes of response to basic life situations.

For the antiscion at 07° Pisces: “Illumined by a shaft of light, a large cross lies on rocks surrounded by sea mist.” Indicating the spiritual blessing which strengthens individuals who, happen what may, stand uncompromisingly for their own truth.

“Take time to deliberate; but when the time for action arrives, stop thinking and go in.”
    Napoleon Bonaparte
