We don’t want to know…or do we?
The Full Moon will be at 8°53’ Cancer (antiscion 21°07’ Gemini).
Once again, a heavily dominant Earth/Cardinal chart, indicating a practical action-oriented energy.
Full Moons are when matters climax, they are “now or never” moments regarding any projects we have initiated or intentions we have set at the preceding New Moon fourteen days ago.
As well as opposing the Sun in Capricorn, the Moon, well dignified in its own sign, will also make an easy sextile aspect to Uranus, retrograde in Taurus. A desire for something new and exciting but not to the point of wanting to completely disrupt our wellbeing.
The Sun is still close to Mercury (as in the recent Solar Eclipse 14 days ago) and trine Uranus, so information is still at the forefront, in Capricorn this could be some serious and sudden news perhaps regarding people of prominence or governments, Mercury however, as in the Eclipse, is combust so the news could also be fake or not in our best interest to know and thus all the more unsettling.
The Sun’s dispositor, Saturn, is now in Aquarius yet still conjunct Jupiter, these two planets are square retrograde Uranus in Taurus. Both Aquarius and Taurus are fixed signs, they don’t like change but Uranus is the very embodiment of change so something will have to give and it could be startling and life-changing, Jupiter could add some luck or fortune to the aspect or could intensify whatever is being expanded. Perhaps change might be daunting but ultimately for our best good.
In the lunation chart, Venus in Sagittarius is conjunct South Lunar Node and square Neptune in Pisces. Will past comforts and fun take on a dream-like quality as we leave them behind and hurtle towards our new destiny?
Mars is separating from a recent square to Pluto, any violence should now hopefully be behind us.
This Full Moon falls on the traditional 10th-4th axis, work vs home, public vs private, one parent vs another, rigidity vs flexibility etc. It will have major impact on those with planets or angles between 06-11° of the Cardinal signs of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aries.
In his book “Moon Phase Astrology”, author Raven Kaldera calls this the “Sea Mother’s Moon”, he recognizes it as a capricious Moon that contemporarily loves and loathes.
The Sabian symbol for the Moon 09° Cancer: “A small naked girl bends over a pond trying to catch a fish.” Indicating the first naïve quest for knowledge and for an over-elusive understanding of life.
For the antiscion at 22° Gemini: “Dancing couples in a harvest festival.” Indicating the wholesome enjoyment of organic processes and emotional drives.
“People don’t know that they don’t know. Remember that before you hold it against them.” Akiroq Brost
