tempers could run high….
There will be a Full Moon at 12°43’ Aries on the 5th of October. Aries is a Cardinal, Fire sign and this lunation will largely affect those with planets/angles between 10-14° of the Cardinal signs of Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and, of course, Aries.
This Mars-ruled Moon, opposite the Sun in Libra and both square Pluto in Capricorn could lead to a lot of volatility with explosions and temper tantrums arising out of nothing as power strategies come into play. However, it could also push you into action if you’ve been stalling and balking especially if you need to take a stance or make a decision or just define your own boundaries.
The Moon’s dispositor, Mars, in Virgo, is in partile conjunction with Venus. They symbolize the union of the masculine and feminine energies and their passion is grounded in this service-oriented Earth sign inviting us to connect with our physical bodies and fill our present with consideration and purpose. This awesome duo is squaring Saturn in Sagittarius reminding us that patience, faith and planning will hopefully bring future rewards.
Jupiter and Uranus are separating from their recent opposition and are also on the Libra-Aries axis, on and off situations could still suddenly occur in relationships as we allow ourselves more autonomy and move ahead with optimism.
Full Moons are moments when matters peak concerning the house axis where it falls, for good or for bad, and some of these matters could involve any intentions you might have set on the previous New Moon which took place fifteen days ago.
It falls on the 1-7th house axis in the traditional horoscope (Aries-Libra) and involves such issues as; me vs we, what I want vs what we want, fighting vs cooperation, assertion vs compromise etc.
Author, Raven Kaldera, in his book “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this the
“Warrior’s Moon”
On this Moon he writes that we fight for what we believe in, often in a lone battle with our own interior demons during which time we also learn the virtue of patience and compromise.
The Sabian symbol for 13° Aries: “An unexploded bomb reveals an unsuccessful social protest.” Indicating an immature evaluation of the possibility of transforming suddenly the status quo.
For 13° Libra: “Children blowing soap bubbles.” Indicating the cultural fantasies through which young minds dream of perfect fulfilment.
“I don’t have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.” Anon
HOW WILL THIS FULL MOON AFFECT YOUR CHART?
