OOB PLUTO ENDS HIS FIRST RETROGRADE PERIOD IN AQUARIUS ….the soul-searching is over, time to transform!
Pluto will station direct for the first time in Aquarius at 01°22 (antiscion 28°38’ Scorpio) after just over 5 months of being retrograde. The planet is still OOB in South declination and will remain so until 23 November.
Persons with planets or angles between 00-06° of the Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) will be most affected by this station.
Pluto is concerned with power, regeneration, survival, transformation, sex, obsession and possessiveness. Pluto is the god of the Underworld. Pluto in Aquarius (ruled by Saturn) in traditional astrology and Uranus in modern astrology) is concerned with the deep-reaching transformation of the collective.
We may be, or at least I hope, on the verge of a new collective awareness of our world and we may find that this current, “old and known” structure (partly demolished during Pluto’s stay in Capricorn which is now definitely behind us) no longer fits our new direction, while a new altruistic consciousness will replace the selfish structures that have been in existence for too long.
Great social changes are within reach if we have the courage to grasp and implement them but they may not be achieved easily or without turmoil.
During the Pluto retrograde period, matters that were previously too painful to face may have bubbled up from our unconsciousness and we may have met these in the physical realm where we were forced to deal with them. Pluto only forces us to confront and transform that which is in dire need of change. This period may also have provided us with the opportunity to find some of the latent sources of power inside ourselves allowing us to harness them in an appropriate way. Pluto shows us the reality of our limitations. The retrograde period has really been a huge invitation to become more fully aware of the resources we hide in our inner depths. Failure to do this could have led to external events that may have puzzled and/or distressed us as we took on the role of victim.
On a personal level, as well as the houses where Pluto is transiting in your chart you should also look to the houses ruled by Pluto (Scorpio) and the relative planets or angles.
The Sabian symbol for 02° Aquarius: “An unexpected thunderstorm”. Indicating the need to develop inner security which will enable us to meet unexpected crises.
For the antiscion at 29° Scorpio: “An Indian squaw pleading to the chief for the lives of her children.” Indicating love as principle of redemption.
“The real voyage of discovery is not about looking for new landscapes, but about having new eyes.”
Marcel Proust
