VENUS ENTERS LEOLook at me, look at me!
Venus, the planet of values, love, and finances, enters the sign of Leo.
In Leo, Venus feels courted and pampered (after all Leo is the King and she is the Goddess!), she hates to be ignored and seeks attention, which isn’t difficult for her since she adds her own talents to Leo’s natural penchant for passion, generosity and warmth towards others. Venus rules the sign of Taurus (her more practical side involving finances and comforts in general) and Libra (love, harmony and relationships) so you should look not only to the house placement of natal Venus but also to the house that Venus is transiting as well as to the houses which have Taurus and Libra on their cusps since the affairs of these houses will also be under scrutiny as will any natal planets or angles that Venus aspects during the transit through Leo.
The only significant contacts Venus will make whilst transiting Leo are:
12 July: opposite Pluto R (01°07’ Leo-Aquarius) – power struggles in relationships are possible under this transit.
21 July: sextile Jupiter (12°30’ Leo-Gemini) – something sweet?
02 August: square Uranus (26°52’ Leo-Taurus). Venus in Leo wants to charm, Uranus in Taurus wants freedom to enjoy life according to one’s own tastes. Depending on the placement in your chart it could involve unexpected gains or losses in finances or upsets in relationships or the arrival of someone totally different and excitingly new in your life. Whatever it may bring it will only be a fleeting experience unless of course, personal planets or angles are also at those Fixed sign degrees in your natal chart.
