  • Mercury in CapricornOOB MERCURY MOVES INTO CAPRICORN

And stays for quite a while!

OOB Mercury barges out of Sagittarius with the usual bluntness and awkwardness that often characterises his sojourn there and bounces into Capricorn. It’s OOB status started on November 23 and ends on December 22.

After fun-loving Sagittarius this move into Capricorn will certainly hit him with force, dampening his mood and deepening his thoughts and encouraging all of us to think, plan and talk in a much more serious fashion more so during the OOB phase which takes up the first part of Mercury’s stay in Capricorn.

Due to its retrograde period (29/12 to 18/01) Mercury will remain in Capricorn until 11 February 2023 and will make the following aspects:

17 December trine Uranus R (15°28’) and again on 8 January when both planets are retrograde (15°01’) and for the last time with both planets direct on 6 February (14°57’) – communications and travels could be exciting and fast-paced especially during these dates if they involve getting ahead in some sector of your life.

24 December sextile Neptune (22°46’) when both planets are direct in motion, again on 01/02 (22°53’) January when Mercury is R and for the final time on 6 February (23°46’) when both planets are direct once more – truth could be blurred in the days surrounding these aspects.

29 December, Mercury stations retrograde (24°21’) and simultaneously conjoins Venus on the same degree as the station – you may need to have a serious conversation but saying it nicely will come easy.

18 January Mercury stations direct at 8°08’ Capricorn.

10 February Mercury conjoins Pluto (28°58’) – could for researching whatever topic comes to mind or, why not, starting counselling sessions of some kind in order to get to the bottom of what might be troubling you on an inner level. Whatever you choose don’t become obsessive about it.
