Let’s move forward continuing to discern the useful from the useless…
After a twenty-two day period of retrograde motion in the Earth sign of Virgo, Mercury now stops in his tracks at 14°52’ before picking up speed and moving forward.
Mercury, in one of his own signs, Virgo, is at home. So, diving deeper into details, re-planning, rethinking and generally brooding over matters during this period may not have proved too hard for him. Although he may feel rather mentally challenged and a little weary after three whole weeks of this stuff as his depiction in the cartoon I’ve used to illustrate this post shows!
Wherever Virgo is in your chart you’ve been invited during this time to re-evaluate the matters of that house. Now you’re ready to activate all those plans and programmes that you’ve hopefully been reviewing.
This, for some, may involve purchasing that new phone, computer, car or machine that you’ve been pondering, since all these things come under Mercury’s reign and may have broken during this period. The same applies for sorting out any communication muddles and getting them settled.
Mercury will station direct at 14°52’ Virgo just one week before Pluto also turns direct at 14°55’ Capricorn and so the two planets will be in a trine aspect giving us the power of thought in a very decisive way which could lead to tunnel vision for some and certainly wanting to have our views and ideas heard and accepted for the most of us, this might involve having to listen to other people’s view and opinions too.
Mercury will also be separating from a conjunction with the transiting North Lunar Node also in Virgo which should have given us a very future oriented or even fated feeling to those plans that we’ve been re-visiting.
The Sabian symbol for 15° Virgo: “A fine lace handkerchief, heirloom from valorous ancestors.” Indicating the quintessence of deeds well done.
To me a fitting quote for this moment might be:
“You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analysing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could’ve, would’ve happened… or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the fuck on.” Tupac Shakur
