  • FULL MOON IN ARIES

    full of action?

The Full Moon will take place at 27°26’ Aries (antiscion 2°34’ Virgo).

This New Moon has its dispositor Mars in a separating conjunction with the Sun and thus still in a condition known as “combust” or powerless, Mars is also in its detriment in Libra. This is the type of Mars that could really go overboard to reach any kind of agreement resorting to charm and friendliness to reach its goals, even if he may not be your friend or act in your interest!

The lunation is also the base of a separating Cardinal T-square with Pluto (together with Mars which is applying to Pluto), the power and determination of Capricorn combined with the Plutonium need to change the cards on the table is fuelled by this Fiery Aries “me first” Moon which however finds itself frustrated by the more diplomatic manners of the Sun-Mars combination. Mars is also on the very fortunate Fixed Star Spica which will surely aid any endeavour he might undertake, good or bad. All this might have, or might, pull(ed) out the very bad in some of us by means of non-cooperation or active confrontation of the worst type since the Cardinal modality leaves no choice but to take action.

The modality of the lunation chart is also heavily Cardinal (action) and has 5 planets in the Air element (planning ahead, seeing the big picture).

The dispositor of the Sun is an OOB Venus in Sagittarius quincunx Uranus R, something sudden and unexpected concerning foreign matters that have relationships as their base. Perhaps an international money scam or some sexual scandal?

A few hours prior to the lunation the Moon will sextile Jupiter which is itself contro-parallel to Uranus R, and then square Pluto, perhaps a sudden opportunity to join forces and be a major game-changer in social welfare or social justice?

Full Moons are moments when matters peak concerning the house axis where it falls, for good or for bad, and some of these matters could involve any intentions you might have set on the previous New Moon which took place fifteen days ago.

It falls on the 1-7th house axis in the traditional horoscope (Aries-Libra) and involves such issues as; me vs we, what I want vs what we want, fighting vs cooperation, assertion vs compromise etc.

Author, Raven Kaldera, in his book “Moon Phase Astrology” calls this the

    “Warrior’s Moon”

On this Moon he writes that we fight for what we believe in, often in a lone battle with our own interior demons during which time we also learn the virtue of patience and compromise.

The Sabian symbol for 28° Aries: “A large audience confronts the performer who disappointed its expectations.” Indicating the necessity for mature preparation and self-criticism.

For the antiscion at 3° Virgo: “Two guardian angels.” Invisible help and protection in times of crisis.

“I make us better by competing with you.” Toba Beta, My Ancestor Was an Ancient Astronaut

HOW WILL THIS FULL MOON AFFECT YOUR CHART?
