MERCURY STATIONS DIRECT Let’s move forward with optimism…
After a period of retrograde motion in the Fire sign of Sagittarius, Mercury now stops in his tracks at 06°24’ (antiscion 23°36’ Capricorn) before picking up speed and moving forward.
Wherever Sagittarius is in your chart you’ve been invited during this time to re-evaluate the matters of that house and do so with responsibility since Mercury has already been twice in a square aspect with Saturn and will make a third pass on 27 December.
This, for some, may involve purchasing that new phone, computer, car or machine that you’ve been pondering, since all these things come under Mercury’s reign and may have broken or needed repairing during this period as well as most also being typical gifts for the upcoming Festive Season. The same applies for sorting out any communication muddles and getting them settled and now is, of course, a great time to set off on a journey.
The retrograde station occurs just eleven hours after the Full Moon in Gemini. Mercury will be in opposition by sign to the Full Moon and in opposition to Jupiter R by degree as well as in Mutual Reception with Jupiter R (each planet in the other’s sign).
During the transit through Sagittarius Mercury has already made and will repeat the following aspects:
12 November, 06-07 December, 27 December: square Saturn (the first with Saturn R, the second with Mercury R and the third time with both planets direct) respectively at 12°42’, 13°05’ and 14°11’ along the Sagittarius-Pisces axis: learn to be philosophically practical in your thought processes.
18 November, 04 December, 26 December: opposite Jupiter (all contacts have Jupiter R and only the second one has also Mercury R) respectively at 18°47’, 16°43’ and 13°46’ along the Sagittarius-Gemini axis: avoid cockiness and “knowing-it-all” because unfortunately for you…..you don’t!
06 January 2025: square Neptune (27°22’ Sagittarius-Pisces): keep a tight grip on those fantasies and…don’t invent gossip.
For the Direct station at 07° Sagittarius: “Cupid knocks at the door of a human heart.” Indicating a stirring-up of individual longings for romantic love.
For the antiscion at 24° Capricorn: “A woman entering a convent.” Indicating total commitment to a transcendent goal.
